Since July 2024, Google has been implementing several changes to make it harder to use ad blockers (their main source of revenue comes from ads).
Under the pretext of improving privacy, Google is discontinuing the so-called Manifest V2 βwhich all browser extensions have used so farβand forcing migration to Manifest V3 (which comes with stricter rules).
If you use a Chrome-based browser (such as Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, etc.), itβs likely youβll need to enable Developer Mode to continue using userscripts; otherwise, they may simply stop working.
To enable Developer Mode in Chrome and derivates:
chrome://extensionsΒ orΒ edge://extensionsΒ in a new browser tab to navigate to the extensions page.
