Patch Notes – January 2025

It’s been a while since our last patch notes, so here are the changes from mid-November 2024 to early January 2025!

New Features

• New Home Page – We’ve updated our homepage to improve organization and display more useful information!
• 2024 Restock Review – We created a page for you to relive your best (and worst) moments restocking in 2024!
• Search Page Rewritten – We completely rewrote the search page from scratch to eliminate several bugs and added new search options (hello, page limit!).
• New Auction Filter – We’ve added a filter to show only sold auctions on an item’s auction history page.
• Search Bar Update – The website search bar now also displays official lists and restock shops in its results (except on mobile).

Quality of Life Improvements

• Improved Loading Speeds – We made several internal changes to improve the loading of various pages, including:
  • Your Profile
  • List Pages
  • Restock Hub Pages
• Pricing Algorithm Update – Our pricing algorithm now waits a few days before pricing new items. We also make continuous small changes to ensure that prices are always up-to-date.
• NC Prices on Item Cards – Item cards now show NC prices for items available for sale in the NC Mall.
• Hidden Tower Items – Hidden Tower items now also display restock card information on their item pages.

Infrastructure

• Email System Update – We’ve updated our email system. No more errors or delays when creating/logging into your account.
• Database Bug Fixes – We fixed several bugs that could crash our database (nasty deadlocks).
• Account Security Enhancements – We’ve made several internal changes to improve the security of your itemdb account.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue that displayed sold auctions as unsold and vice versa (oops).
• Fixed an error message that appeared when you had no restock sessions to view on the Restock Dashboard.
• We’ve made some adjustments to ensure that Owls’ information is always up-to-date.
