Patch Notes – November 2025

New Features

• Winter Starlight – We added a card on the homepage so you can quickly access links for the Winter Starlight Celebration.
• New filters – You can now filter your searches (and lists!) by Album Item, Paintable Petpet, and Base Color Petpets (we call these canonical around here).
• Spreadsheet Enthusiasts – You can now export your lists (and official lists!) as CSV! Perfect for throwing into your spreadsheet and doing… whatever it is you all do with that.
• We redesigned the Color Info card to make it more useful (you can now easily copy the hex code!).

Quality of Life Improvements

• We added Petpet Related Links on the item page.
• We added a field showing the email address of your itemdb account in the Edit Profile modal (useful when you don’t remember which email you used to create your account).
• We now display the “Help Needed” alert on trade pricing for users who are not logged in.
• Reliability improvements: During one of our search algorithm updates we accidentally impacted several dynamic lists across the site. We quickly fixed the issue. To ensure this doesn’t happen again, we added automated tests that check everything is in order for every new itemdb update.
• We also refactored a large portion of itemdb’s list logic and added TESTS to ensure nothing breaks in the future…
• We improved some queries on the site to make everything super fast…

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue with tree-shaking of the site’s text strings. You should now only receive the strings relevant to the page you’re browsing.
• We fixed lots of typos across the site (thanks for sending reports!)
• We fixed some strange errors that prevented importing lists or moving multiple items to other lists.
