What is the NC Mall in Neopets?
The NC Mall is Neopets' official Neocash store for wearables, backgrounds, and other NC items. This itemdb page isn't the store — it's a live tracker: new arrivals, sales, retiring items, Lebron cap values, and openable capsules, with links straight to the official NC Mall.
How do I know when an item is leaving?
If a listing has a leave date, it shows on the item page and in Leaving Soon below. After that date, NC trading is the only way to get it — see the full leaving list for what's rotating out next.
What is Lebron and what's a 'cap'?
Lebron is a community project estimating NC trade values in caps. One cap ≈ one Gift Box Capsule (GBC), Neopets' 200 NC gift box — so a '2-3 caps' item trades for roughly 2 to 3 GBCs. Values come from real trades, not fixed prices. See the Lebron guide for the full picture.
Is the cap value the same as the NC price?
No. The NC price is what the item costs in the Mall. The cap value is what players actually trade it for — it can be higher or lower and changes over time.
Why should I report my NC trades?
Every reported trade helps keep Lebron cap values accurate for the whole community. Use the report form — it takes a minute and directly improves the ranges shown on this page.
What's inside a Mystery Capsule?
It depends on the capsule — check its description for the category (clothing, backgrounds, etc.) or exclusive item pool. Most give one themed NC item plus a chance at a Limited Edition bonus; Gift Box Capsules (GBCs) also include Basic Gift Boxes used for trading.
