Checklists and Dynamic Lists⚡

Imagine you’ve done this super cool search using our operators and filters, and now you want to put it all into a list. Doing it page by page? Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Introducing Dynamic Lists⚡. With them, itemdb takes care of creating and keeping your list always up-to-date based on the awesome search you’ve put together.

Dynamic Lists can come in three flavors: Add Only, Remove Only, and Full Sync. Let’s break down these three types using a NP Background Gallery Wishlist example

Add Only

In this mode, itemdb will only add new backgrounds to your list. So, if TNT releases a new neopoint background, itemdb will automatically add it to the wishlist.

This also means you can’t remove any backgrounds from the list; otherwise, itemdb will just add them back. However, you can hide them if you want to keep things on the down-low. 😉

However, if TNT decides that a certain background is now a foreground, itemdb will not remove it from the list.

Remove Only

In this mode, itemdb will add all items to the list only once. After that, it will only remove items.

This means that if you manually add a non-background item to the list, itemdb will notice this odd one out and remove it.

It also means that our “background now foreground” will be removed from the list.

Full Sync

itemdb will keep your list 100% identical to the query you wrote. Nothing more and nothing less.

Checklists

itemdb’s users don’t live on queries alone. You can also create dynamic lists based on other lists (technically, we call these dynamic lists Linked Lists).

This is especially useful for creating your checklists based on an Official List or even another list of your own.

Just like dynamic lists, Linked Lists also have the three modes itemdb can use to keep your list 100% up-to-date.
