Patch Notes – 17/01/2024

The itemdb is now available in a new language. Let’s talk to Portuguese speakers in the next section. If you don’t understand portuguese, just skip it, we have cool things for you too, gringo!

O itemdb agora está disponível em português! Nós traduzimos toda a interface e todos os textões de como contribuir ou as diretrizes de precificação de trocas e agora você não precisa mais gastar seu inglês com um site made in brasil.

Muito conteúdo não dá para ser traduzido (ex: todos os dados de itens heh) e outros… é melhor não serem traduzidos (como listas oficiais, artigos e etc). O itemdb foi feito para funcionar melhor com mais pessoas usando e, como a maior parte dos usuários de neopets falam (e são obrigados a entender) inglês…

Se você preferir continuar usando o itemdb em inglês (ou quiser mudar para o português) basta ir nas configurações do seu perfil na página “Minhas Listas”.

We’ve got some cool new stuff from the last patch that we haven’t given enough props to. It’s demanding a bit more love and attention!

• We’ve enhanced your color search options. Now you can choose the tolerance level and filter by color palette type.
  
• We’ve introduced a new way to hide duplicate items (aka. the same item with different IDs). Now you’ll only see their “canonical” version in the itemdb (I’m talking to you, duplicated MMEs).
  
• We have new checklist options in our list import tool.
  
• We’ve added a handy little bar at the top of the site to accommodate more links – we have a lot of links and not enough places to stash them!
  
• We’ve significantly improved the loading time of the itemdb search. Gone are the days when you couldn’t navigate multiple pages without things getting slower and slower!
  
• (And this doesn’t just apply to search; we fixed a bug that was slowing down our server as items kept popping up on your screen – and our site has items everywhere, so…)
  
• We’ve fixed various bugs in the Restock Dashboard.
  
• A new “My Lists” section for you to manage your lists directly from its item’s page.
  
• We tinkered a bit with the itemdb pricing algorithm. Our goal is to provide a more reliable and realistic price.
  
• We’ve improved the security and stability of our server.
